Carry
Genre 3D puzzle game
Team 4 people
Time 2021
Development platform Unity
Brief description The player takes on the role of a young boy who uses the search for the game's cassette as an opportunity to search through the house and have conversations with his family. In the process, the player gradually discovers the evil that lies beneath the family's apparent harmony. The final choice of the character who takes the cassette will also influence the final outcome of the game.
Narrative Design
After brainstorming as a team, we decided to make a puzzle game where there is a plot reversal. I was responsible for the content design of the clues for each of the interactive objects.
The carry involves four spaces: my room, the living room and kitchen, my parents' room and my sister's room.
-
In my room, the player triggers a quest to find the game cassette and interacts with clues to learn about the relationships between the family from 'my' perspective and what happens to 'me' at school.
-
In the living room and kitchen, the player learns more about the parents' personalities and the relationships between the family members through clue interactions and conversations with them.
-
In the parents' room, the player learns about what happened to his sister through interactions.
-
In the sister's room, the player will learn more about the sister's character and encounters.
As each room is unlocked, the player will gradually discover the secrets hidden in the harmony of the home.
2D Asset

2D clue screens that pop up after players interact with the furniture in the scene. It is divided into two parts: furniture and specific clues.
Furniture clues show areas where clues may exist.
The specific clue shows a picture of the clue design item on the left and the player's control character's opinion or description of the item on the right.
